A long time ago in Barnes and Nobles far far away…
Well not really that far away, its just 10 minutes away from me really, but still a long time ago. I was dating a peculiar individual, if you know you know and I will not be elaborating if your don’t, we went and perused the books they had in stock. I came across this tiny little book by the San Francisco Writer’s Grotto (Introduction by Po Bronson) called “642 Tiny Things to write about” and it intrigued me. I thought it was a magnificent idea; but I never gave it a second thought after bring it home with me. Naturally, the book lasted on my shelf longer than the relationship and a few times I tried to pick it up and set out to try and write about the things in the book as long form thoughts rather than small things. Alas, I kept putting it back. I don’t quite know why I still have it, I’ve tried to throw it away but it taunts me because the idea of writing about all 642 things sounds awesome but the pain of remembering that relationship still lies with its pages. Now, I am older and have rationalized and gotten past some of the issues I had previously. I think now I shall start the endeavor of doing the writing of these concepts given to me by such a cute book. Also I would like to finally get rid of the damn thing, so to do so I am challenging myself to complete it and get rid of it. It is small yes, but it is annoyingly small. It does not fit on my shelves well. So from this point going forward I will be doing “I wrote 642 tiny things” on my blog. Shoutout to the makers of this book, I like it as an idea!
Hopefully you enjoy my writings of the 642 things, hopefully I enjoy it as well.

P.S. I will not be writing the prompts in any particular order, I will be randomly selecting them until I have completed the book.
